The company was founded by father and son Mandelli. The 60s of the XX Century brought the Cultural Revolution and global changes in the life and in the worldview of people in many countries. That's because Paul Mandelli and his son Henry established a company based on the family sewing business, producing high leather quality modern clothes in 1964. A success accompanies Enrico Mandelli firm for decades and this is undoubtedly based on the deepest traditions (today the fourth generation Mandelli works for the company) and time-proven classic style jackets, coats and jackets that look great on the streets of world capitals.
The real Italian fashion boom was in the 70s. It was no coincidence that Enrico Mandelli was asked to produce leather cloths for Basile and Lucano Soprani. In the 70's for Enrico Mandelli brand such prominent fashion designers as Walter Albini, Luciano Soprani and Basile created collections. In 1984 was an important event in the life of the brand – Mandelli management signed a joint operating agreement with Franco Moschino who was known as a "fashion extremist".

Exactly this creative union made Enrico Mandelli a popular brand outside of Italy. This union was followed by
another successful partnership -
with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Mandelli factory
manufactured the first line of «D&G Leather».
Enrico Mandelli leather clothes from Dolce & Gabbana were produced after agreement signing in 1989. It does not mean that Mandelli decided to hide behind names of others. Customers and unexpected business proposals allowed the brand to develop actively and explore new fields in a difficult area of creativity with the title "man's classic."
